Also again, we just have to wait and see what the writers give us. The last thing we thought that we would see is Mac dying in season 2, let alone getting killed by Grace herself, so I feel like if the writers can throw the audience for a loop like that, I think they can handle the show moving forward without Mac.
Though, on the topic of Basie, considering he was the bastard child, imagine his relationship to Rochelle at the beginning stages. But, when it comes to their relationship That is a something to get excited for season 3.
A quick recap of the first season and all that points that resonated the most with me. The book of Job is a running theme throughout Greenleaf, as peril befalls the family that oversees a megachurch (Calvary) and lives under one roof of a small mansion in the suburbs of Memphis, Tenn. The series features master performances by Lynn Whitfield, who plays Mae, the Greenleaf matriarch, and Merle Dandridge, who plays Grace Greenleaf, the prodigal daughter who has returned after 20 years to upend a family full of deep secrets.
I feel like that too, that the show may do a time jump. I say maybe a year, 2 to 3 years at the most. So, Sophia and Zora maybe shown as college freshman, and baby Nathan maybe about 2 to 3 years old. So, it depends if we see Kevin again or not by the time this season ends, by the time the show comes back for season, and howeve many years have passed, baby Nathan will be at that age where he will either be asking for his dad, and know that he has been gone for a good amount of time, or depends on if Charity and Jabari last, may have bonded to Jabari by the time we come to season 3. All of that would be really interesting. Seeing where Kevin has been all this time. Seeing how Charity has grown over those years, and seeing how Kevin may react to Nathan, not really knowing who his in terms, of Kevin being his dad. Again, if they decided to go down that route.
Season 1 will launch with a two-night premiere on Tuesday, June 21 at 10 PM and Wednesday, June 22 at 10 PM on OWN. The series will regularly air on Wednesdays at 10 PM for the remainder of its 13-episode first season. Clement Virgo (The Book of Negroes) directs.
The Season Finale of the religious-themed drama series titled \"Greenleaf\" was aired last Wednesday, August 31 on Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN). And just when everyone thought that the difficulties and mysteries encountered by those who are serving for the church will subside on the first season's last episode, the makers of the series unraveled more family challenges, secrets, lies and new anonymities for viewers to watch for on the next season.
What could be the bishop's secrets which may be connected to Mac's imprisonment All throughout the season, we have seen how he wanted so bad to seek revenge against Mac. However, the direction of the wind seems to be changing as the bishop has started to comply with Mac's demands. With the bishop's sudden cooperation with the serial rape suspect, it could possibly be connected to an evidence or any account that may damage the bishop's reputation.
Sadly, season 2 is not yet slated to air in a week. The series' followers will have to wait for its return for the questions to be answered. One thing is for sure. According to Greenleaf writer Jason Lynch, Season 2 will have 16 episodes instead of 12. 59ce067264
